Amazingly well balanced and refreshing local wine — 2 years ago
This is a seldom encountered grape that makes a delicious wine. At Anselmet they give it a light wood treatment and lees stirring by rotating the barrels. The wine has crisp acidity and flavors of lemon, white peach, pear, wet stone. With 13.5% abv the wine has a surprising ripeness s as well as medium body. Wonderful silky texture and it marries perfectly with Valle d’Aosta’s traditional fontina cheese-based specialties. A bit pricey (but typical of this Alpine region) and well worth it. Wine estate : Valentina Andreï
Designation : Valais
Name : Arvine
Country : Switzerland
Vivino : 4.5/5
Note : Excellent Valentina Arvine. Always a pleasure to enjoy and goes perfectly for the aperitif as a dish made from fish or even cheese. A golden robe with a nose of freshness, white flowers and citrus. In the mouth, a nice balance on lemon and apricot, a length of almond and a delicious finish.

Lovely full bodied white. Beautiful oiley texture, notes of beeswax, marhsmallow, apple, nuts, and maybe a touch buttery and a bit of white flowers. — 6 years ago
Half-bottle #swisswine #petitearvine at first aromas of new tennis ball, kerosene and cured cheese, then lovely citrus and a hint of beeswax. On the palate it is super fresh and balanced. — 6 years ago
