Garys' Vineyard Pinot Noir 2008

A lineup of 10 August West and Roar Pinots, 2007-2011, all made by wine maker Ed Kurtzman, who attended our tasting! This one was meaty and elegant, my #2 of the group. — 4 years ago

Rüdesheimer Berg Schloßberg Spätlese Riesling 2005

Honey, peaches, kind of like a complex fruit cup syrup mixed with pure gold. These wines are always so sensual. — 6 years ago

Finger Lakes Pinot Gris

Funky! Hint of blue cheese on the nose and in the taste but still fruity. Interesting. Would have thought this to be an old world white — 2 months ago

Similkameen Valley Pinot Gris

Lovely Canadian orange wine. Tastes like a grapefruit bouquet of flowers! — 5 years ago

Jacques Selosse

Initial Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Champagne Chardonnay

Disgorged August 2018. Initial with a little age is just incredible and really allows it to reach its full potential. 2018 disgorgement is showing fabulously, totally in the zone with distinctive Selossien aromatics, a rich, powerful and textural palate with racy acids and a chalky mineral core. There’s both freshness and integrated oxidative complexity yielding a complete, balanced and seamless Champagne. Nothing like Selosse 💛 — 9 months ago
