75% Sauvignon blanc, 25% semillon. Richer and honey hued, tastes of melon, kiwi, mouthwatering acidity. More full bodied than a typical Sauvignon blanc - almost like an unoaked Chardonnay — 3 years ago
I must have got the best bottle of the batch. Glorious. Went down singing the national anthem. — 4 years ago
A shame this is una volta because this is spectacular. All the depth, and savoury spine of the best otago pinots but with the finesse that I love about Blank Canvas. They let the fruit speak in an unobtrusive way which in this case means red and black cherries, and a strong spine of spice shrouded in ultra fine tannin. As Julia Harding in JR.com says “.. Firm, gently chewy, with terrific density but all lithe and full of energy.” For $65 this is Burgundy 1er cru quality. The very best of what new world has to offer. — a year ago
Smooth fruity notes... discovered at National Anthem in Dallas... paired well with cheese enchilada double burger — 3 years ago

Absolutely loved the detail on the bottle. Had this with some very fatty ribeyes and just absolutely hit it out of the park. A deep nose it almost comes off. Still hot with alcohol, but dry forest floor and rich garrique scents. Very bold and rich with ripe bursting plum, Rosemary, thyme, and butter, definitely enough structure to hold up against a good thick steak. Can’t believe this thing is 11 years old and still kicking it. — 3 months ago
