Really delicious. Baked apple, candied Meyer lemon, overripe pineapple, but with more freshness on the palate and long finish — 2 days ago
Dark, brooding, mysterious, beautiful nose. Dark mashed flowers, dark berries, gorgeous minerality, smells limestoney, amazing details and precision to this nose. Just gorgeous and so deep. Rich, ripe and wow levels of purity with an engaging limestone sweetness accented with deep pure sweet berries. So well made and refined. But so deep and so much more to say. This is so greet. Structure and so classic. Such a long finish. Dynamite. — 21 days ago
Different and expressive. It doesn’t have the nuance and pensiveness you can find in the world’s best Chenin. But this is still very good with ripe tropical fruits and pear. Lychee, passion fruit, buttered popcorn. Creamy, austere, moderately abrupt. — 14 days ago
Nose has wet sandstone, cut Anjou pear, lemon peel, honeycomb and spring honeysuckle blossom. Faint-ish trailing of white vinegar.
Palate has honeydew mellon rind, under-ripe quince, slight candle wax notes and light minerality. Slightly raw-ish on the medium finish.
Nice, I love all the different expressions that Chenin Blanc can display. — 24 days ago
What a nose. Love this when it’s young. Incense, smokey wood shavings, bright berry fruit, mesmerizing nose. Super juicy and so clean with incredible minerality, freshness, bright berry fruit and so much energy. Awesome. Such fine tannins and finesse. So good. — 21 days ago
