Tastes like the non-alcoholic sparkling cider you get at thanksgiving. So v tasty. — 20 days ago
Brilliant magenta. Maybe the most delicious young Chinon (or cab franc for that matter) I’ve ever tasted. Pure varietal character with no compromises— all the freshness, lightness and peppery bite one wants— yet with perfect ripeness. And by that I mean this hovers on that magical edge where the grapes must have been picked at the ideal moment, down to the minute, to produce something not just giving but with all sorts of push and pull. Flirtatious, seductive.
The fruit and flowers are achingly fresh: black raspberries, red and black currants, elderberry, violets, roses, fresh herbs, and an ever so slight cocoa sweetness. Spot on acid and the tannins are handled so deftly that you hardly notice.
I can’t get enough of this. Masterful wine, drinking beautifully but should only get better. — 9 days ago
Green apple, lemon zest, walnut skin, smoke, lentil, and beeswax. Searing acidity. Called it a Hunter Semillon in a blind tasting, ugh. Never would have expected it to be of 14% alcohol! — 24 days ago
After having a 97 I wanted to check out a promising young vintage. Stunning nose or cigar, ash, beautiful herbals, tree bark, grassy field, black currant, smells like 1940’s St. Estephe. Very foresty. Love it. Palate is fresh and energetic and so young. Really young. Needs 10+ years. At least. Big tannins. Good red and black cassis fruit but so young and unformed. It’s all there. — 9 days ago
I was charmed by this from the minute it was opened. Aromatically, this is powerful enough that it overwhelms the senses each time you raise the glass, but the details are all nuance and finesse. The palate is quite similar. Ripe cherry notes, but a beautiful weight makes this a joy to drink. Beautiful. — 8 days ago
Great aged chenin notes right off the bat. Hay, mushroom, wet wool and beeswax. Then as it opens up it is floral with acacia and white flowers. Quite dry with huge saline minerality and biting acid. High tone and pretty though could use more time to mellow. I’ll likely wait another 5 years on the next bottle. — 9 days ago
This is a very tasty Chenin Blanc from France. Showing honey, yellow apples, apricots, tropical fruits and spices.
Light to medium in body with medium plus acidity.
Semi sweet on the palate and very tasty.
Nicely balanced with a slight buttery feel. Nice and elegant.
I've had a few different vintages before, and it keeps on being consistent and yummy.
12% alcohol by volume.

Whatever the blend composition: SB dominates. Greenish yellow hued in color, intense vivid aromatics of lime & grapefruit, grassy, herbaceous, straw mingled w/ apple, flowers and candied pineapple. Searing acidity and bone dry. This wine packs a punch - caught me by surprise when we only envisioned a mere aperitif! — 9 days ago
