Delicious Portuguese white wine. Would drink again. — 12 days ago
Medium body beautiful and complex vinho verde. High acidity with floral, honeydew, pineapple, citrusy flavor and long mineral/salty finish... An absolute pleasure and guaranteed you will want more than one bottle. The main difference with the Spanish counterparts it resides ( besides soil ) on the warmer temperatures in the region. That tropical fruit signature is the unique trace that put this Alvarinho on a league of its own... — 16 days ago

Crisp minerality, bright fruit and a nice slightly green finish — a month ago
Light, bright yellow. Intensely perfumed aromas of ripe, mineral-accented citrus and orchard fruits, ginger and honeysuckle on the incisive, finely delineated nose. Silky, sharply focused and energetic on the palate, offering intense Meyer lemon, green apple and quinine flavors that deepen slowly on the back half. Plays power off of finesse with a smooth hand and finishes impressively long and mineral, with excellent clarity and lingering florality. I've learned over the years that this wine, an icon of the region, ages along the lines of a top-notch Chablis so don't hesitate to stash some away for further down the road. This yellow-good wine smells like a fruit basket. Lemon, lime, peach, nectarine - a cornucopia. There is also a beautiful floral note which is almost washed away in the tidal wave of fruit. The palate shows plenty of lemon and lime, with a brisk acidity and finish that stays in the mouth a long time. The stone fruit aspect brings a slight sweetness to the wine to differentiate it from, say, a Sauvignon Blanc. Great summer sipper? Sure it is. But a wine like this will serve well at holiday parties as an aperitif and alongside turkey and ham. — 9 days ago
