Does no betray that it is a SB at first blush. The grass is more a tertiary aroma beneath maybe a green apple nose.
On the palate the acid predominates but is not obtrusive. The wine is probably more of a Loire valley signature.
Rosslyn and Alix did not appreciate this wine at all. In fact they disliked it so much they did not drink it. — 3 years ago

why buy sancerre when you could buy welches white grape juice for a fraction of the price??
SALM DUNK. fruity yet clean with a hint of mineralogy — 10 months ago
This is such a hidden gem. Alix and Etinne's negociant label. Do I see the Roulot influence here (wink wink)? I guess so. Very muted on the nose: minerality, honey, white flowers, ripe citrus, and stone fruits. Sooo much more expressive on the palate! Very broad and soft textures, white Brioche, baking spices, apple blossoms, medium+ very integrated and soft acidity. LONG finish. — 2 years ago
— 3 years ago
Great week night drinking — 5 years ago

I’ve been waiting a week for the “experts” at @Delectable Wine to identify this correctly. I finally said “fuck it” and posted it with the wrong ID just so I wouldn’t forget about it. It’s the 2019 Terre di Carlin Barbaresco. (Not Massimo Rivetti).
A fruity, open, and straightforward bargain-priced weeknight Barbaresco. Nose shows spiced cherry, fresh and dried. A bit of leather and minerally earth. On the palate, it’s got nicely-concentrated fruit and decent acids. The tannins are soft and in the background. This is for short-term drinking while waiting for its more structured peers to come around. Great value. — a month ago
