Harmonious, delicious. Refined but still exciting — 2 months ago
so delicious, hearty style - tasted as though it saw some oak but def spent time on lees, some tropical fruit like guava and citrus but also savory herby floral, just a great nose. med bodied, weighty w/some bottle age, firm acidic backbone, minerality and lingering finish — 10 months ago
Bright fruits with red tannins and herbs — 3 years ago
One of the best wines I’ve had in my life. Truly spectacular. All the things were there. Structure, balance, the fruits of Barolo, all of it. No sense in going over it. Memorable to say the least — 6 years ago
Just beautiful. Very aromatic, herbal notes with fennel. Apple, pear and citrus fruit. Great length, body and tension — 8 years ago

Dark garnet color with some brown highlights and slightly orange rim. Aromas of dried red fruit, forest floor, leather and a touch of menthol. Flavors of dried plum and black cherry fruit, dark chocolate, black licorice, beef jerky and roasted nuts. Plentiful baking spice notes on the long and grippy finish. Quite dense with firm tannins. Full bodied and well layered. Outstanding intensity and complexity. Still quite powerful but aging nicely. Cheers to Keith S! — 18 days ago
