Vintage 2016 | when I bought this in Germany, I asked how long it would last. The Ahr is not known for Riesling, do not keep it too long, was the answer. Wrong answer, imo. This wine is now delicious with awesome sweet/acidity balance. Great! — 6 months ago

Vintage 2019 | Tasted blind | This sucks. I tasted this wine twice last six months. It is my cellar. Did not recognize it. It is too young. It suffered from the wine that we tasted next to it, a beautiful pinot noir from North Italy. Light colour. Licorice and caramel. Little sweet touch in the mouth, nice bitters, still strict because of the tannins. Will become a beauty within 3 - 5 years. — 3 months ago

So earthy! I smell red cherry tree sap or bark, candy cap mushroom.
Surprisingly austere and tannic fine tannins light in the mouth, but it's also comforting in a similar way that good scotch is comforting after it goes down. — 8 months ago
