A gift from my mother in law: under screw cap. The wine had a barely noticeable orange rim. Deep aromas of sweet roses, black cherry, orange rind, freshly turned earth, oolong tea; all this carried through on the palate, with the black cherry in the forefront. Good acidity and length, 13.5 abv. For the entry level Pinot aged under screw cap I am very impressed. I want to try the GG offerings now. — 10 months ago

Vintage 2016 | when I bought this in Germany, I asked how long it would last. The Ahr is not known for Riesling, do not keep it too long, was the answer. Wrong answer, imo. This wine is now delicious with awesome sweet/acidity balance. Great! — 2 years ago
