This was interesting - if served blind I would have thought it to be a French blend of Sauvignon Blanc with vermentino or rousanne - very aromatic, medium acids and a decent finish. I believe this was a local Salento wine so nice to see that they can retain aromas and acidity in such a dry mediterranean climate. — 4 years ago
Really nice very light wine with surpingly strong tannin for it's light body. From the wine share — 7 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two days where it displayed a slow, steady evolution throughout. The 2018 pours a pretty, deep garnet color with a near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe Morello cherry, carnations, bergamot, sandalwood, dried green herbs and dry earth. Bruised strawberry and old library notes showing on Day 2. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. Ive been cautiously optimistic with the 2018 vintage but I thought this showed really well. Drink now through 2033. — 8 months ago
2020 vintage. First vintage for the Perrodo family, who bought this estate from French Bank Crédit Agricole in late 2019. True to type elegant Margaux with the hallmark freshness of this great vintage. A solid effort, but definitely not in the same league as the excellent La Lagune 2020 tasted alongside. Terrific value though. An estate to watch. Abv. 14%. — 4 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of three days. Best on Day 1 and 2. The 2012 Riserva pours a deep garnet color with a near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears and some sediment. On the nose, the wine is developing with powerful notes of Morello cherry, red flowers, Pu-er tea, porchini, leather, cigar box, old wood, dried green herbs and dry gravelly earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and delicious. A brilliant example of 2012 BdM Riserva. Drink now through 2037.. — 18 days ago
