Actually really enjoyed this peasant styled Sangiovese!
I found the front to be popping flavour Cherry and big delicious Pomegranate. Put the clutch in as this ripeness fades, the middle produces a balanced acidity with some fresh white pepper heat and breath of floral finish. Definitely would have this again Umbria...unbelievable🍷🍷 — 7 years ago
Wow what wine. 3.5 hours in decanter and still showing very big and bold. Underestimated the intensity at its age. Still great but has many years left. — 8 years ago
This is one of those perfect wines to relax and enjoy the start of our evening. Smooth and delicious. Grenache is always subject to the subtle differences of its growing area and takes on so many different attributes. For this reason to me it is harder to pin down. To me bits of red licorice and spice mix perfectly in this wine. This was a great drinking Grenache — 9 years ago

Azienda Agraria Guerrieri Marche IGT Sangiovese 2017: Medium-bodied. Medium acidity. Soft tannins. Intense red fruit aromas and vibrant fruit flavors of cherry, plum & blueberry. Long spice-driven finish. All in all, a young & fresh traditional/classic Sangiovese wine from the beautiful Italian region of Marche. Excellent QPR! Great day to all! Cheers🍷 — 4 years ago

While Montefalco earns most notoriety for its intense reds, a handful of white wines also leave its boundaries. This one from Scacciadiavoli comes from 50% Grechetto, and 25% each of Trebbiano and Chardonnay. While more reserved on the nose with gentle white florals, the palate finds a steely, acidic breadth that electrifies the wine - lemon juice, almond skin, acacia blossom, white rose, pears, and salt. Gripping and lengthy. — 8 years ago
