Fresh & aromatic and very enticing.
Red fruits with a healthy pinch of baking spice, a touch of cloves, a bit of a darker note underneath (undergrowth, blue fruit, tree bark). Fresh & very enticing.
Medium bodied on the palate, with quite a tannic (polished!) grip and bright acidity nicely balanced and with good depth. A richer, heavier style and yet so drinkable. Quite delicious indeed! Perfect a duck breast in orange sauce. — 10 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a couple of hours. The 1967 Abbazia SS Annunziata Barolo pours a pale, slightly hazy garnet color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is vinous with notes of desiccated Morello cherry, dried red flowers, leather, and earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannins and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. This bottle of the ‘67 has lost most of its power at this point but it still has a story to be told. Drink now. — 5 months ago
By far the best one from their white range.
Aged partially in acacia barrels, this shows a lovely blend of ripe pears, a touch of underripe white peach, a fresh herby mineral note - quite round yet so clean & precise.
Quite some presence on the palate. Medium body, zingy mineral acidity, beautiful mineral depth. Almost as if a slight tannic bite. Great balance & purity, beautiful long finish.
Blind I would have taken this for a racy Pinot Blanc.
Such a nice one! — a year ago
Clean, crisp, alpine, a bit of menthol. — 5 months ago
Created in 1981, Terre Alte is considered one of Italy's most prestigious white wines, blend of Friulano, Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon grapes, estate-grown at Rosazzo in the historic Terre Alte vineyards. Pale lemon yellow color with aromas of stone and tropical fruits and wonderful floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple, peach and slight lemon citrus with honey floral notes and lively acidity. Smooth finish ending with fruit and sweet mineral notes. Very nice! — a year ago

Truncated party notes: very nice Sylvaner. Lots of nice herbal notes, not a lot of fruit, very nice balance. — 8 days ago
