Vatan

Toro Tinta de Toro 2019

Produced from the oldest Tempranillo clone in Spain, in the only Spanish DO that completely resisted phylloxera plague. Deep Ruby with an elegant bouquet of ripe berry fruits, pepper spice with earthy tones. On the palate flavors of plum and blackberry, vanilla, oak, pepper and herb spice, lively acidity. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, oak, spice and an earthy character. Nice! — 2 months ago

Quinta de Lemos

Dona Santana Touriga Nacional Blend 2006

Cork disintegrated but this Dao is exceptional. Totally resolved, with nicely ripe fruit mingling with secondary and tertiary leather and dusty gravel notes. Velvety textured. Acids balanced. It could actually hold a few more years. — 3 months ago

Solid wine - believe it was a Costco special: fragrant nose of red & black fruit, very ripe, verging on liqueur like, distinct minerality and earth tones. Med bodied, finely grained tannins, integrated acidity carrying flavors thru lingering finish. Excellent QPR — 3 months ago
