Smooth, complex, delicious. Drank the 2016 vintage in Dec 2018. This was one of the wines from our Italian wine night at Piaza Di Nardi. — 4 years ago
2014: Light gold color, rich, lingering, smooth and balanced - very nice! — 5 years ago

What a pleasure- lush, silky, dark cherries bursting from the glass, forest spice, fairly substantial integrated tannins, well balanced with the acidity. And for under $20. #morandosilvio #barbera #monferrato — 4 years ago
Ok. Silvio is better. Tannens are sharp and flattening — 5 years ago
Aroma of quince jam or apple pie. Nice weight and a combination of green apple, citrus and a mild bitterness on the finish. Really nice. — 3 years ago
Al naso spezie (chiodi di garofano e poi pepe)
In bocca molto suave, delicato e vellutato.
La miglior Barbera che abbia mai provato (12.08.2017). Grazie zio Silvio! — 5 years ago
Moderate ruby red core with amber rim. Sous bois notes dominate the nose with fruit character of raspberry and black cherry. On the palate, it's delicate and light bodied with medium acidity, little tannin, and only 13% alcohol. I have really enjoyed Silvio Jermann's white wines in the past but had not tried any of his reds until this very pleasing Italian expression of Pinot Noir (Pinot Nero). — 5 years ago

Light. Crisp. A light sweetness. Really a terrific year compare to other years of the same wine that has gotten very dry. — 2 years ago
