A little closed after decanting. Aromas of red cherry, menthol, pepper and also wet nappy. Just Medium bodied - a great food wine with home made pasta. Very Italian with a savoury balsamic note but I thought it might give more at 10 years. On the 2nd night very skinnsy with bitter notes. Will probably have the last one in around a year. — 8 months ago

savory, complex, bright and layered. just gorgeous. — 3 months ago
Mid crimson in colour - almost transparent. Red fruited with typical Huon Valley perfume - earthy, Sous Bois, mushroom - sweet and savoury characters on the palate. Finely textured (Chairman’s Trophy - 2020 Tasmanian Wine Show). There is a Reserve Cuvée which is richer still. — 6 months ago
This is great. Huge fruit, jam with tannin, some dirt in a great way, there’s a nice vegetable/herbal component that is wonderful. Overall restrained in a huge way if that makes sense. Well done! Also better on night 2. — 2 years ago
A Zinfandel for Cabernet Sauvignon lovers. Big and bold with oak, leather, cherry, and earthy notes. — 2 months ago
This Zin is outstanding! Let it breather for a bit to get the best taste and smell. The smell of this wine is incredible and the taste is as well. Leather, tobacco at the front and a jammy fruit with a hit or vanilla/spice. Velvety and smooth it’s a pleasure to drink. Drink on its own for a the true tasteful experience! We had with meats and cheeses but they diluted the wonderful taste of this beautiful wine. — 6 months ago

A great “table wine”. Fruity, but not sweet. Tasted 22 November 2023 — 11 days ago
