Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2019

Alex Lallos

Freaking well made wine. You can drink it standing up. Don’t need to plan a meal around it, yet regal as well. It’s dumb to make comparisons but with such few words I suppose it makes sense: ferren, dumol, bevan? Loads of citrus, ultra pure, well defined, powerful. I guess I like this. Bought at the tasting room (they kind of hurried us along) but I could still get a sense of what these wines are. The chards and the pinots aren’t just fluff, they are really really good wines. Not so much into the sales model but for the price you’ll compete with stuff double the price — 8 days ago

Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

This needed 24 hours of air to really open up. At first it was fine — not THAT big. But after a day it was much more balanced and nuanced. At $20 you can’t argue with the price for a Cali cab. — 19 days ago

Solid off-dry riesling, round mouthfeel, white flowers, stone fruit. Good acidity but not super zippy. All around solid everyday wine. — 9 days ago

Le Chiuse

Riserva Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese 2011

Last man standing after a night of college friend shenanigans! 25 years later we are still the same however with slightly deeper pockets and more refined palates! This was the winner of the night! You can never go wrong with a Le Chiuse Brunello! Classic Brunello notes thru & thru. Cheers🍷 — 4 days ago
