Maybe Year wasn’t great? — a month ago
Was a little worried this would stand up being a 2007. Was I wrong! Fully balanced, perfect structure and an incredible finish. Complimented an incredible meal, more than I could ever ask for. Thank you Stalin Vineyard for another incredible experience! — 7 months ago
What a treat! This wine is deep ruby.
It has pronounced, developing aromas, including, candied blackberry, black cherry, creme de cassis, violet, potpourri, clove, anise, vanilla, cinnamon, cedar, nutmeg, leather, earth, and game.
This wine is dry, with medium acidity, high alcohol, medium(+) body, medium tannins, and medium(+) intensity in flavors consistent with the nose. This wine has a medium(+) finish.
Ooh this wine is smooth and velveteen. The aromas and flavors are well integrated. It’s simply delish. Paired perfectly with a filet mignon.
Staglin, Booth Bella Oaks, Cabernet Sauvignon, Rutherford, Napa Valley, CA. Vintage 2014. ABV 14.9%.

Delicious. Drinks well straight away. Dark fruit. Maybe touch of licorice. Balanced and very enjoyable. — 4 months ago
American Sangiovese? Shouldn’t be this smooth should it? Well it is. Very drinkable. Very enjoyable. I was also very pleasantly surprised. Enough verys? Well it’s deserved. The character is bit narrower vs Italian Brunello but it’s a saying something that it competes. Young and bursting with vim and decent length. You can taste the difference in terroir but I am looking forward to the next bottle. — 5 months ago
