Tough vintage, especially for the west side of the Valley in lower lying areas. This is a very elegant wine that is still deciding if it's going to be a 98 and blow us away in 15 yrs or a 2000 that needs to be drunk right away. Great job Frederic with what you had to work with.

Staglin tasting

Started fleshing out after about 30 minutes. For the vintage this is a solid wine.

More proof that you should pay attention to 2011 despite the critics and "challenging" nature of the vintage. Solid all the way around.

elegant, well-balanced, like it even more than the 2010.
