A top wine on Spectators list, tried several vintages. Pale lemon with aromas of citrus and tropical fruit with herb floral notes. On the palate flavors of zesty sour green apple fruit flavors and some grassy tones, lively acidity. The wine finished with fruit, herbs, grassy and mineral notes. — 2 years ago
Really unique wine/cider blend of grapes and apples. Tart and juicy. Very easy to drink and great for summer! — 3 years ago
sehr mild, samtig, süffig, kann man problemlos solo trinken — 4 years ago
This pale wine shows mineral and herbal qualities on the nose. The wine smells much grassier than the previous two New Zealand SBs I sampled (Babich and Greywacke). The palate shows a boatload of citrus minerality, too, with a racy acidity. Crustaceans and mollosks are welcome here. — 4 months ago
Pale brown in color is this 10-year-old wine from Valtellina, looks unfiltered; beeswax on the nose along with earthy dusty notes with faint nebbiolo flowers and tar in the background; high acids. mouthfilling balanced with chocolate, coffee, dark small berries; long nice finish.
Interesting wine from La Spia (i.e. the Spy) of the Rigamonti family in the far-northern Valtellina region with breath-taking views. — 3 years ago
Delicious and much better than the base level. Balanced and earthy. Not too fruit. — 6 months ago
