A big thank you to Fourth Wave Wines for this sample of the 2021 Cowpunk Pet Nat Chardonnay.
It falls in the category of a natural wine. Plus it’s also organic and vegan friendly with no added preservatives. It’s from a single site and is small batch with a $30 price tag.
It looks like cloudy apple juice in the glass and pretty much smells like Granny Smith apples 🍏 too - super crisp and enticing. Alongside the juicy apples there’s some pretty florals and zesty citrus peel. Dry and delicious. Tastes great and love the packaging.

Cheers to South African bubbles!!!
This delicious wine is a medium lemon hue. It offers a foundation of starfruit, kumquat, lemon pith, green apple, pear, and herbaceous-y notes of grass.
The Sauvignon Blanc expresses itself delicately and elegantly which is blended with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
As the wine opens, aromas of stargazer lily and white blossom emerge alongside secondary notes of frozen pie crust, bread dough, and biscuit.
This bottle of bubbles is produced using the Méthode Cap Classique which follows the ‘traditional method’ used for producing sparkling wines of Champagne 🥂 🍾

Purple!
This is extremely youthful. Ink, mint, resin, blackberries, black pepper and kalamata olives.
Lots of tannines, which are perfectly ripe and soft, Elegant and powerful, this is so promising, but needs at least three more years in the dungeon. Or 24hr in the decanter.
Truly beautiful, pure and graceful. — 9 days ago

Coonawarra mint together with blackberry aromas. Cabernet tannins with a touch of bitterness - quite firm even though medium weight - tasting way younger than 13 years. The Wynns Black Label Cabernets have amazing longevity from their extensive resources of premium Coonawarra Cabernet fruit. One of the best value Cabs in the district The current vintage (2019) can be sourced for around $30. This 2009 will last until well into the 2030s. — 11 days ago
