... and then there was dinner. Grilled balsamic / soy marinated skirt steak, roasted and herbed baby bell peppers, and grilled ciabatta, paired with Zuccardi’s, Concreto, Malbec from Valle de Uco, Mendoza, Argentina. Delish!!!! Vintage 2017. ABV 14%.

To start, as noted, the Ruinart! Paired with ribboned cantaloupe, sugar snap pea, ricotta, and tarragon salad. 💕 — 4 years ago
🍇85% Grand Cru Chardonnay + 15% Grand Cru Pinot Noir
⏰Nearly 15 years of aging (including over 11 years on its lees) left this wine smelling like cinnamon and nutmeg baked goods and tasting like ginger and cardamom, with pomegranates and dried apricot. — 2 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed as an aperitif prior to dinner. The NV Brut Rosé pours a very pretty pink color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of raspberry, strawberry, spring flowers, some brioche, lemon citrus and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. The fruit is round in a good way. Balanced. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and chalky. This is a classy NV Rosé that’s easy for the wine nerd and the crowd to appreciate. Drink now. No disgorgement data. — a month ago
