Crushed apples and sage mix with tropical florals as the 2020 Ronco della Chiesa comes to life in the glass. This is soothing on the palate with its soft textures, yet it is also stimulating. A blend of sour citrus and minerals adds tension toward the close. This takes on a bit of a tropical flair through the finish, hinting at fresh vanilla bean and ripe melon. While the 2020 comes across as highly appealing today, there's a core of underlying power here that promises even better things to come. The Ronco della Chiesa is a varietal Tocai Friulano and one of the standouts from the 2020 portfolio at Borgo del Tiglio. (Eric Guido, Vinous, April 2023) — a month ago

Absolutely stunning. So much going on. Floral hints on the nose, the wine has an incredible weight on the palate. On oily, salt start, keeps going to fruit and floral notes. Just an incredible white wine. — a month ago
Ghemme is my sentimental favorite of the Novarese DOCs. I had a really good one when I was in my last year of college and starting my wine journey. It generally is one of the heavier and, sometimes, earthier of the group. This one is very good. Still youthful, it takes time to open up, but slowly reveals dark cherry, mahogany furniture, crushed minerally gravel, and roasted meat scents. Medium full, it’s got concentrated and tight dark cherry fruit, very fine-grained but abundantly chalky tannins, and very nice acidity. No rush to drink this. Enjoy over the next 4-5 years, maybe longer. — 4 months ago

The 2021 Sauvignon Ronco Delle Mele is delicate and understated in the glass, wafting up with hints of gingery spice and dried apricots. This is silky smooth and medium-bodied, with ripe orchard fruits and exotic spices flowing effortlessly across a juicy acidity core. A staining of saline minerals is left lingering beneath an air of inner florals as the 2021 finishes cooling and fresh. While balanced to age, I’m not sure if it matters because this vintage of Ronco Delle Mele aims to please. (Eric Guido, Vinous, April 2023) — a month ago
