Pretty deep colour . Still quite deep fruited , mint blackcurrant , spice , violet . Nice weight on the palate with nice detailed black fruits. Really nice definition with a touch of spice , dried herbs. Nice balancing acidity , with rounded tannins just still noticeable. Good length, really balanced and incredibly enjoyable. Enjoyed over 2 and half hours with no oxidation . This is at it’s peak now , if you have them open the bottles ! — a month ago

It is a dark purple wine, with a nose featuring ripe blackberries and cassis, vanilla, tar, cigar and clove. The palate is quite nice, with cherry, blueberry and raspberry flavors draped with a bit of oak spice and offering a silky set of tannins. I paired it with a rib eye and used it in my skillet mushrooms. The wife gave me a big thumbs up, so I know it worked. — 15 days ago
