Deep cherry red with purple accents. Nice sexy legs. The nose on this is gorgeous featuring plums, black and blueberries and some soft traces of vanilla. Cherry cola and nutmeg.
52/44/4 Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot/Malbec from Candlestick Ridge Estate Vineyard on the glorious Howell Mountain. This is their offering that’s for immediate consumption and is it ever. Very smooth with excellent body and enough complexity, but there’s no need to overthink things.
Lush mouthfeel with nice acidity. In the mouth, there’s a little smoke, a little leather, and a lot of fruit. This never gets jammy or devolves into a fruit bomb. It’s just plain good. Medium long finish with a suggestion of spice. Beautiful stuff but honestly, I’m not surprised. — a month ago

Continues to evolve nicely. Wonderful refreshing champagne on a hot summer day — 6 days ago
Nose is tropical flowers. Gorgeous.
Palate is a bit recalcitrant at this point. Balanced and elegant. Perfect hint of honey. Very mineral. Great acidity. Mouthfeel gives you density but not the flavor as much.
I’d give this a couple of years for optimal drinking. It’s very good now but will be better.

It has been a long time since I have had this wine! Crisp acidity, white flowers especially on the finish, grapefruit, apples, lemon, apricots a hint of creaminess on midpalate. Exactly what I was looking for on a humid evening! 14.5 alc. Is hiding in there! 🤔 — 9 days ago
