Straightforward Sangiovese from near Forlì. Earthy and slightly rustic, unfiltered. Cherry, touch of oak, leather, and vanilla but medium–light; could be good with a slight chill, too. Lush tannins, some graphite and cedar. From Perry’s, Provincetown. 07/22/2022 — 16 days ago
La Vie del Colle ‘Ultra’ Bianco Forli IGT 2020: Fresh. Fruity. Fun. Loved this organic, non-filtered, natural Albana wine from the Forlì/Cesena area of Emilia-Romagna. Hand-picked during 3 different times of ripeness with 8 months of maceration in terracotta amphoras, this wine displayed nice structure & balance with clean sapid peach notes. A perfect lunchtime selection to pair with a mozzarella, pomodoro, salsiccia e funghi cassoni. Yum to both! Cheers 😋🍷 — 25 days ago
85%Sorbara, 10% Sauv blanc, 5% Chardonnay.
N: Vauge almonds, peaches, Apricot.
P: Nice bubbles, lots of peach fuzziness.
Quite refreshing, not too serious.
A nice find from the Veneto.
