Deep ruby in color; black cherries, dried herbs, and black pepper on the nose; intense acidity; medium tannins; tastes like sour cherries, blackberries, and spices with a long, slightly peppery finish — 3 years ago
Very nice Sauternes with delightful balance of fruit, flowers, sweetness and unctuousness, plus sufficient acids to bring it all together. Quite a delicious sipper. This was the very last bottle of Sauternes I could find at my local BevMo in Santa Monica, and it was just a half bottle at that. I should really go back to the Wine House or Wally’s for my wine purchases but this tells me how under appreciated Sauternes is in the U.S. A pity.
I enjoyed the 2019 vintage with homemade chicken liver pâté on toasted brioche. — 5 years ago
Very nice burgeland Cuvee, well balanced — 6 years ago
Wow. The 10 rating is for how incredible this is considering it’s 58 yeard old. Incredible amount of fruit still present with a great flavor profile. Unbelievable. (Ignoring the quality/age ratio, it’s probably a 9.1-9.2, but easily hits 10 when other factors are considered!) — 7 years ago

Very good Bordeaux blend from Becker winery of Texas Hill Country. This vintage had 39% Cabernet Franc, along with Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. Lovely taste that paired well with food. Drank in December 2023 — 3 years ago
"This intensely colored red is beautifully balanced and complex. Deliciously vibrant dark berry and licorice abound on the nose and palate, enhanced by notes of spice and black pepper. Smooth and round in the mouth, this velvet textured wine has a long lingering refined finish." — 5 years ago
The wines was perfect! It aged so well and showed richness of aromas such as tosted, vanilla, ‘sous bois’, mushrooms, dried berries and figs, and a hint of eucalyptus
The tannins are so velvet, the acidity is refreshing yet and the finish is delicious!
Very good wine!

Delicious fruity, dry with a lemon curd finish. To. Die. For. — 8 years ago
Crozes-Hermitage gets no respect, but this domaine is bringing some serious wine to table. Inky and intense color. Smoke, game, olives and a burst of violets on the nose. Purity and focus on the entry, revealing succulent, juicy blackberry on the mid palate. Tannins are silky smooth but provide plenty of structure, reminding me of chewing on a soft, ripe blackberry. There’s a tensile quality about this wine- dense on the palate but with plenty of movement. Loving the balance and contrast going on here. Approachable, full of youthful fruit, a little playful and an excellent food wine. Drink now or enjoy for another 5 or so years. — 9 years ago

One of our favorite everyday Cabs. Deep ruby with aromas of dark cherry, currant, plum, blackberry, stewed fruits, tobacco, and a bit of mustiness. On the bud, super smooth with a nice long finish. Flavors of stewed fruits and dark berries, Fabulous with our coffee rub Ribeyes! — 2 years ago
