Pouilly Fume

Bouchard Aîné et Fils

Pouilly-Fuissè Chardonnay 2020

Pouilly and Fuissé are the names of two villages in the Mâconnais region, located at the foot of the famous Solutré and Vergisson rocks. The vineyards cover a total of 850 hectares which are divided between four communes. Medium lemon color with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and nutty floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple, melon and lemon citrus with notes of honey and nutty oak. Medium+ finish, vivid acidity and ends with minerality. Nice! — 5 days ago

Louis Jadot

Pouilly-Fuissé Chardonnay 2020

Light straw in color.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity.

Showing citrus, lemons, apples, oak, light vanilla, spices, minerals and white pepper.

Spicy finish with oak and almonds.

This Chardonnay from Burgundy is enjoyable by itself, although a little oaky for me, and watery on the finish.

Very pleasant to drink, and good by itself or with food.

100% Chardonnay grapes were aged in French oak barrels for 6 months.

13% alcohol by volume.

89 points.

Louis Latour

Pouilly-Fuissé Chardonnay 2021

All of the grapes from the vineyards owned by the Latour family are vinified and aged in the cuverie of Château Corton Grancey in Aloxe-Corton. The winery was the first purpose-built cuverie in France and remains the oldest still-functioning. Medium pale lemon color with aromas of stone fruits with a slight nutty floral character. On the palate flavors of peach and melon with lemon citrus and savory notes. Medium+ finish, lively acidity, ending with fruit, toasty oak and minerality. Nice! — 2 months ago

Jean-Claude Dagueneau

Domaine des Berthiers Pouilly-Fumé Sauvignon Blanc 2019

The 2019 Jean Claude Dagueneau “Domaine des Berthiers” pours a straw color with a slightly watery rim; medium viscosity no signs of particle or gas. On the nose, #flint4dayz, grapefruit, tangerine, asparagus, lemon. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid; confirming the fruit and non-fruit characteristics. The texture is super creamy no-doubt due to lees. The finish is medium+. Drinking well now with a little air but would no doubt hold for 3-5 years with ease…but why? — 3 months ago
