I really need to stop storing whites in my food fridge when they seem to always open once reaching a cellar temp. Here's a fun little field blend that takes to warming well. Chardonnay, Weissburgunder, Grüner Veltliner, Roter Veltliner and Riesling. What I'd call a silver-skinned nose - green herbal scents mixed into flint and smoke. A little bit of texture and bite, interplay of high acid and cream. Lands nicely with apples, pears, kumquat, and starfruit and that little bite which I love. — 6 months ago
Complex notes of smoked honey! Intense Pepper on the palette. Natural GV from the Quevre. — 8 days ago
A wow of a wine. The nose is spectacular. Sour cherry, dark gamey undertow, blood, dried herbs, and that brightening kick of viognier. Tastes age appropriate with more soft forest floor, oak subsumed, more savory than sweet. Glorious stuff but not OTT in any way. A super well-stored and fresh bottle. Very long. Over a couple of hours it lost intensity and the fruit dimmed a bit. Great. — 5 months ago
Opulent sexy nose of candied cherries. Here’s to @Jody Scharf and my made from scratch Beef Wellington!
Huge mid-palate presentation with maple syrup, coffee and cedar. Completely OTT, but we are biased towards this producer, and we love it. Short-term cellaring only. — 5 months ago

Exceptional tension, texture, fruit and fragrance with a beguiling finish that makes one’s eyes cross back into one’s head. Stunning! — 11 days ago
