Last bottle of my 2018 SC.
Followed over two days. Juicy, ripe and balanced. Astounding value at $30. Haven’t found the signature TRB blood orange profile in these RM SCs, but that’s a small nitpick. Loads of red and black berry fruit upfront, boysenberry, red currant and dark florals. Mid palate was much better on day two as it bulked up and showed the nervy side of SC Pinot. It has a high toned/elegant profile while retaining weight. Stylistically it sits in between RRV and cool climate SC. Banging value, as always. Drink now or in the next 3-5yrs. — a month ago
Golden Lemon colour . Rich nose , vanilla lemon tart , toasted nuts, touch of butter . Persistent and rich , ripe lemon , candied peel, orange rind , yellow fruit , quite creamy . Good acidity, lovely balance , rich though still mineral on the finish, structured. From now , though absolutely no rush , probably even better in 5 - 8 years, will last another 10 years. — 2 months ago
Orange wine done right. Light skin contact, deep golden color, fresh apricot, honey, nothing in the way. COS doesn’t miss. — 3 months ago
Top 3 orange. Lemon . Orange peel, tannins — 2 months ago
A fascinating bottle. As other reviewers note, hard to tell just what you're smelling here, but definitely apricot/orange and acetone (in a good way). Super dry. Savory - not bright or refreshing - on the palate. Good match for fin fish. — 2 months ago

This is my third and youngest encounter with this elusive Y, and as always it is tastes like the epitome of hedonism. I had to take a moment alone with the wine just to acknowledge that, those who truly love wine, will know exactly what I’m talking about. The predominant flavours on this wine are orange marmalade, orange peel, and fresh tangerine… All working in unison on the palate, no single element ever outshining another. Creating harmony. — a month ago
