Lone Oak Ranch Pinot Noir 2020

Pinot Noir blend of fruit from eight different Willamette vineyards. Beautiful organic-based nose of mushroom, tobacco, lavender and freshly turned wet soil. Just a bit of dark cherry. The pallet is light with black cherry, cranberry and black raspberry fruit with some notes of cola and spice. Light color and body. Elegant. Excellent QPR for a Willamette Pinot. Wow. Mathiasson Cabs keep getting better and better. Medium body, dark fruit, some violets. A cab with real finesse. — 13 days ago

This was a lovely Cabernet Sauvignon and went well with an al fresco dinner of ribeye steaks.

Nice notes and balanced.
