Blackberry, coffee, dark chocolate and smoky taste. Excellent wine — 24 days ago
A favorite- tastes great right out of the bottle without decanting. Smooth, great bouquet. Cooled it down a tad - tastes great on a hot day. — 4 days ago
Amazing example of Pinot. Delicate and balanced with complexity with every new glass. Strawberries — 7 days ago
Nice floral notes frame this Pomerol style wine. Probably too early to drink but what the heck!!! — 7 days ago
Lemon and almond on the palate. A delightful different white. June 2021. — 3 days ago
6/2021. Nice Oak Knoll Cab. Full of flavor and nice on the palate. Paired well with the filet at Hall’s Chophouse. — 5 days ago
Deep purple in color with a cloudy reddish rim.
Showing blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, earth, vegetables, licorice, light vanilla, oak, spices, peppercorn, tobacco, dark chocolates, coffee and pencil lead.
Full bodied with medium plus acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate and earthy with nice complexity.
Tangy and spicy finish with fine grained tannins.
Drinks like a Left Bank Bordeaux, very interesting coming out of Napa.
Good right out of the bottle and better after 3 hours of airtime.
Still young and already enjoyable. Would be nice to revisit it in 3 to 5 years.
I paired it with a Charcuterie board of meats and cheeses, and really enjoyable it with the truffled duck confit.
14.1% alcohol by volume.
