Incredible! Super concentrated phenolic nose, slightly oxidative, layers of apple, lots and lots of roundness, texturally beautiful but with no oaky or diacetyl profile and never enough to overshadow the acidity. What a wonder! — 6 months ago
Driven by gorgeous extraction, texture and phenolics. Tasting blind I’d be clueless. It starts with an extremely intense nose of compressed green apple skins, compressed green pear, super concentrated yet super fresh phenolics. Palate shows off the supreme texture, so viscous but not lingering, gets taken over by a phenolic bite and a lingering acid-driven finish. What an outstanding effort! (I found out post-tasting that is has new oak, unsurprising but so we’ll integrated that I missed it) — 5 months ago
Great stuff! Pure high acid, timid nose, great viscosity. Apple, lemon, maybe green pineapple but lean, no bruising — 6 months ago
