Clean, medium + intense aromas, primary bruised yellow apples, peach, hay, orange blossom, Chamomile, honey, toasted nuts, Christmas spice and a hint of vanilla/ tofeee with a pronounced wet stone minerality.
Palate is dry with a high acidity, medium alcohol that is well balanced by a medium + intense flavour intensity with characters of peach, orange, honey, butter. A tactile sensation on the palate and the fresh acidity drives the wine and penetrates that fruit through a medium + lenght finish.
74% chenin blanc, 8% clairette, 7% viognier, 6% grenache blanc, 2% semillon, 2% macabeo och 1% verdelho. — 8 months ago
As good as it gets for this grape variety. — 4 months ago
This has matured nicely. Pleasant surprise. Classic Syrah notes, but more old world in nature. Medium bodied with medium and pleasant finish. The fruit is still lovely and bright but the tertiary notes are coming out. This is still improving, and will be better in another 1-3 years. — 4 months ago
Fruit forward with a nice strong balance of acidity. Strong cedar notes round out this gem for the price point! — 6 months ago
