Candied raspberry and a hint of non-acetone nail polish remover on the nose, surprisingly brambley and woody/olive pit upfront given the nose, but nice rich plum and other fruits come through as well. Medium color and body, solid tannins but finish is a bit tannic for me. — 3 months ago
This is a superlative Tuscan Sangiovese, full of bright cherry and blueberry fruits. There’s a splash of residual sugar, enough to stand up to spicy foods. The mouthfeel is smooth and polished. — 8 months ago
Great deep red color..like the medium closer to heavy mouthfeel with the acidity..more tightly structured than i expected..great value and great way to introduce someone to sangiovese..also great to bring for dinner party as would pair great with most pasta dishes and meats — 2 months ago
Decanted two hours,
NOSE: dark berries, fresh herbs (mint and bright tobacco), a whiff of mocha. Mild, but pretty darn good.
TASTE: lovely. Cocoa plus both savoury and baking herbs - not much fruit. Like a lighter and more elegant Rioja. 91.
EDIT: I see now that I tried this exact wine two years ago and didn’t like it at all. I presume the difference is the two years of age and the long decant. Maybe the last bottle was off also, who knows - or I was. Anyway, wow - what a difference! — 5 months ago
Lovely wine once allowed to breathe. Really good the next day — 2 years ago

Gift from Denise and Jill for dinner in Tucson. Nice medium bodied Tuscan. Cherries on palate. Easy drinking. Nice addition to our Tucson Tamale meal. 😎 — a month ago
