Cool Mountain Gamay. Smells like a grab of cold forest floor - a fist full of damp earth, melting snow, and pine needles. Mortar and Pestle of dark red cherries and fresh juniper. Wild, but very pretty, with a soft texture balanced by acid and a little crunch. — 2 months ago
2017. Soft lemon verbena and lemon panna -cotta notes; hint of lychee, lime zest and white pepper, but geared up on a cocktail of grapefruit and grenadine, with ginkgo fruit. Plush, lush and round nose. Lemon lime juices and zests waver between racy and ripe. Lemon pith is the lining. Tight and green in many ways but very enjoyable now!

Lacking the oomph of the ‘18 version and not quite as complex. This is good but a little plain — a month ago
Lighter than a typical Burgundy. — 4 months ago
Light ruby colour. Complex nose at first, Burgundian, dominated by raspberry, and white pepper, also evolved vegetal notes, ferrous, undergrowth, etc. many evocations but all in finesse. After two hours of aeration, the wine is finally in place and the finish finally unfolds between raspberry, pepper and undergrowth. Light but chewy. One of my favourite styles!
— a month ago
Chilled this burgundy felt restrained, minimal, and one dimensional. As it opened up though, paired with a delicious bouillabaisse, escargot and the best foie gras I’ve ever had, thus started to really come into its own. Medium body, a refined minerality but with delicious notes of crisp apple, baking spice, and an some richer, pastry like notes on the finish, this wine truly came into its own with some warmth and time. Not too rich, not too dry, a perfect balance of crisp fruit, minerality, and baked richness for shellfish dishes with a tomato base. — 2 months ago
Pop and pour. On the nose: soft struck match, crushed rock, lemon oil, and some toast, which I don't think I noticed last time. On the palate: fantastic acidity, muddled mint, crushed rock, iodine, lemon oil, vanilla and lovely density. A touch of tang on the juicy and mineral finish. — 4 months ago

Checking in on the 2020…long decant, tropical nose, lychee, mango, long & oily palate. Give this another year to develop or try on day 2. — a month ago
