Buttery, soft, and very earthy with hay. A hint of mushroom and terracotta. — a month ago
Tarter and more tannic than ‘21 but somehow maybe thinner? Either way, another delicious wine. — 16 days ago
Deep Ruby with aromas of black fruits, toasty and spicy notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry with notes of herb, mocha and tobacco. Medium finish, firm tannins, ending with fruit, herb and mineral spice character. Drink now no real aging benefit! — 22 days ago
A little bit funky. Spicy. Barnyard. Mineral. — a month ago
Vera brought to holiday non-game night 2023. Fantastic, such a joy and surprise. Utterly delicious, smooth, velvety without being heavy, rewarding wine. — 16 days ago
Mum’s 59th Birthday wine. Lovely! — 10 days ago
1/2 hour decant(lots of fine/cloudy sediment). A breathtaking dark magenta color with some bricking. On the nose: Enchanting notes of dark plum, cassis, cedar, herbaceous, eucalyptus, musky, smoke. Taste: silky, savory, creamy, well built classic Napa cab with a little dark plum, graphite, cedar, crushed stone, earth, green bell pepper, and a nice medium plus smokey cocoa tobacco finish. YUM! Sure, on the downside with fading fruit, but still a really enjoyable aged Napa cab. — 23 days ago

The 2023 Kerner is delicately floral in the glass. Sweet spice and candied lime open in the bouquet. Vibrant acidity, saline minerals and tart citrus add a zesty character throughout. The 2023 reverberates with tension through a long, cheek-puckering finale laced with chamomile and lemon zest. $22.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, April 2024) — 5 days ago
