Normally I’m not a big fan of Molitor, as I find his style a bit too petrol’y for my taste.
But this Saar Riesling just shines - weightless and completely effortless but with such precision and mineral depth. Beautifully poised & balanced with shy white peach and lemons and a mineral slatey backbone with a touch of spice towards the finish.
Such a nice wine! — 3 months ago
Very appealing Riesling from Mosel. Notes of stone fruits, peach and pear. Seductive and delicate. — a month ago
Pours more yellow than previous MM Kabinet Rieslings I've tried. Truly golden like a California Chardonnay!
Nose is luscious yet delicate. No petrol/diesel notes at all on this one. Clean, sensual, you want to make out with it not drink it!
The nose leads into the mouth - again sensual, supple, luscious texture.
Strong myer lemon acid zing on the finish and it stays there for a good long distance.
I consider it a must pair wine (Schweinshöchen anyone?). Not the reisling for drinking with girlfriends/boyfriends/no friends on a Saturday night. — 5 months ago

Lovely stuff from this great, great producer. Like others have described it has a Burgundian feel to it with layers and layers of flavours. Really on the dry side for Mosel with an electric and never ending finish. — a month ago
