Light golden in color and very pretty.
Strong nose of citrus, lemons, yellow apples, diesel, spices, minerals, light tropical fruits, sea salt and pineapples.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity, crisp and creamy.
Dry on the palate with lemons, citrus, apples, pears, light diesel, pineapples, white pepper, light earth, herbs and spices.
Long tangy finish with limes and black pepper.
This is a very tasty Riesling from Napa Valley. Showing nice complexity with a nice mouthfeel. Nicely balanced and rich.
Although easy to drink, it is more of thinking wine. A good quality wine with lots to offer. The spicy finish makes it interesting.
Very expressive right out of the bottle, and calmed down after 30 minutes of airtime. Better when not too cold.
This 4 year old is drinking so fresh, and I love that. Would age nicely in the next 10 years. One of the better dry Rieslings that I had from California. Has the potential to be a 94+ point wine.
Good by itself or with food. I had it all by itself by the pool.
12.8% alcohol by volume.

Decided to pop one of these on the eve of our evacuation from the Carmel fire in California. Beautiful color! Notes of coffee and mocha with dark plum and cassis. The nose gets beautifully candied with terschiary aromas of smoldering madrone wood, tobacco and cedar. I can’t believe how amazing this is at 30+ years old and less expensive than the current vintage. I can part with some @ $39 if anyone wants. also have a large selection of other old port available at great prices... email@example.com — 3 months ago

Very drinkable. So drinkable I am a little embarrassed how quickly this was polished off — 2 months ago
May have drunk a little too early. Maybe let it age 10+ yrs. it’s screwcap so May age slower — 2 months ago
Tight right now. Wait a year or two and you will be rewarded. Oooor if you have the patience decant — 3 months ago
Structured stuff. Lots of plum and cassis and boysenberry. Smell a little like green bell pepper and some cigars (cliche I know). Tannin smooths out with some open time. Also smells a bit hot. — a month ago

It is Thursday night the eve before the start of another weekend. I have opened the 2018 Patricia Green Cellar Durant Vineyard Madrone Block Pinot Noir. This is a beautifully balanced pinot noir from the Dundee Hills of the Willamette Valley of Oregon.
The nose brings out notes of cherry, raspberry, floral notes, sassafras, vanilla, cola, clove and baking spices.
Onnthe palate there is cherry, raspberry, cranberry, spice, vanilla, herbs, hibiscus and forest floor.
This wine is a beautiful expression of Pinot Noir that is beautifully well balanced and is medium bodied with medium + acidity and medium fine tannins that lead into a medium to long red fruit finish. Here we are on the eve before the start of another weekend and we need to look within to see how we want to proceed in life? Do we want to try and make something out of our life and do right with our fellow man or proceed with the status quo and not make a mark on this world.i hope we all want to make a difference and try and lift one another up. Let try and support one another and see above the hate and discontent. Please be kind to one another and be healthy and safe so we can all make this a better place. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 2 months ago
