2016 vintage. A wine from the confidential Graves de Vayres appellation in Bordeaux, made by Yves Glotin (Château Goudichaud) who is also president of the Syndicat des Graves de Vayres. A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon (50/50). Fresh red fruit (cherries, strawberries) and spicy oak in the nose. Medium-bodied, juicy, round and fresh, well-structured without hard edges. Good length with retronasal red fruit and some spiciness. Well worth seeking out and good value at 14 euro. Abv. 13,5%. — 6 days ago
🏅Rating 92+/100 (4,25⭐)
Cédric Moussé is the fourth generation of his family to make champagne at Moussé Fils. He is young, energetic and innovative.
In 2012, Mousse completed construction of a new winery in Cuisles, designed to be as environmentally sustainable as possible. It is state of the tech art.
In 2005, Moussé joined the Club Trésors de Champagne, and began making a Spécial Club champagne in that vintage. It's the first 100-percent meunier champagne in the history of the Club.
Single vineyard Meunier comes from 4 plots in lieu-dit “Les Fortes Terres”.
Pale pink gold colour. Crushed almonds, raspberry and strawberry with splash of milk (full malo). Reductive winemaking puts emphasis on the purity of the fruit! 1g/l dosage is enough to balance. Broad-shouldered on the palate. Dry long finish. Spent over 3 years sur lee and disg. 10/2019
Solar 2015 vintage speaks from the glass. Overall that was a warm year which started with a mild and humid winter, followed by quite a dry spring and summer. Harvest started on the 9th of September.
This is one of Champagne's finest examples of pure meunier!

Pleasantly surprised. Bright crisp white. Held up to pasta and chicken — 21 days ago
2016 vintage. Château Biac is situated in the Cadillac region, and it was acquired by the Lebanese Asseily family in 2006. It is considered exceptional terroir for the region and it shows in their must humble wine. Le Felix is their third wine and it is absolutely delicious. — 17 days ago
Soft red, full of berries and a hint of vanilla...great everyday red😊 — 15 days ago
A very young Bordeaux. It smells better than it tastes: mushroom, earthy, graphite. Nice tannins. A decent organic wine from Bordeaux given the price. — 11 days ago
Heavenly. Great finesse, tickling your senses intensely and just a real satisfying, ‘wanting immediately more’ finish. Red and dark fruit in perfect harmony, spicy edge that was lifted to great heights with rosemary bread dipped in ‘pomodoro e origano’ olive oil. Not sure what that really was but it tasted phenomenally and send the wine to the moon 👍 — 11 days ago
