From the lesser-known Cru of Le Coste in Barolo, the nose is textbook Barolo with cherry, raspberry, mocha, licorice, and violet. The palate is full and supple with silky texture. Oak is prominent thanks to 24 months aging in 50% new French oak barrel, but well integrated. Fine grained tannins. — 3 months ago
Ruby color with a light bouquet of dark fruit, spices, herbs and floral notes, blended from 3 vineyards. On the palate flavors of black cherry, currants and raspberry with notes of licorice, cola, floral and herbs. Long finish, nice balance with fine soft tannins ending with fruit and earthy notes. Just starting to drink now! Will continue to age. — 24 days ago
