Reductive upon opening. Almond paste, marzipan, baking spices, toasted marcona almond, meaty and smoky… (mouse????). Tart apricot (faint), bruised apple, iron, orange peel, bright yellow color though. Tangy acidity of very high levels kinda sticking out a bit searing. Rather briny and saline on the palate. Melón, some citrus, slight hint of butter, on the nose. Smooth with very moderate tannins, medium finish. Paired well with the classic cabbage and sausage German dish. Would definitely have again! — a month ago
