100% Sangiovese. Medium ruby color. Aromas of red cherry, red geraniums, tomato leaf and leather. Black cherry fruit leads the palate with additional notes of tobacco, minerals and savory spices. Long and earthy finish. Firm structure and tannins but extremely well balanced. Acidity is bright and well incorporated. Vibrant and elegant. A very pleasant surprise. Outstanding QPR! — a year ago

They’ve solved Fiano! Who knew? Appassimento method applied to this grape is absolutely delicious. It starts with a honeydew kick in the teeth before reminding you this is still a bad ass acidic Italian beast. What a solid contribution to the wine world! — 6 years ago

Rated 8.9 last 8 yrs ago- now beautifully developed. Plum-prune nose, chocolate dark fruit with blood orange on the palate, just enough tannin for a nice finish with leather and tobacco hints. Delicious — 23 days ago
