Starts fruity but finishes with some baking spices. Very smooth and easy to drink. — a month ago

Val di Suga (Angelini)

Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese 2015

2015? It’s like driving a Ferrari in a school zone.

Honestly... there should be a law about selling Italian wine before they are ready to drink.

This is fantastic... but should be ready for Leon’s 19th.

Tré Terre Russian River Valley Chardonnay 2017

Really nice..we drink a lot of chardonnay and this is something a bit different, but in a good way. Spicy fragrance, with a hint of earthiness, while the taste ranges from spicy apple to peach, all with a hint of acidity. — 3 months ago

Russian River Valley Pinot Grigio 2020

Omg whaaa in a blind tasting I’d probably call it Oregon Pinot Gris. That’s the style. I love this. Pinot Gris and Grigio are the same grape so it’s interesting they went with the naming it a Grigio name.
Honeysuckle and pineapple fun. Acid and fruit ripeness says new world yah I’d probably blind tasted call it new world Pinot Gris or mayyyyybe new world chenin but the acid is too low for that fun.

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Sangiovese 2017

Delectable Wine
9.1

The 2017 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is a terrific choice for drinking now and over the next handful of years. Readers will find a wine that offers plenty of Vino Nobile depth, but in a mid-weight style that makes it accessible. Bright red cherry, dried flowers, mint and white pepper add a brilliant upper register to the red Sangiovese fruit. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, April 2021)

Brut Trento DOC Chardonnay

Starting this weekend off right with some solid bubbly on a Saturday afternoon. 100% Sparkling Chardonnay from the Trento DOC of Alto Adige Italy. Bright straw yellow color. Aromas of yellow apple, white flowers and a hint of yeast. Ripe yellow apple fruit flavors with just a touch of pear, lemon and baguette. Consistent bubbles and slightly creamy texture. Beautifully balanced, bright and refreshing. Not a mainstream region or offering, but Good Stuff! — 3 months ago
