Tart cherry, almond, a tiny touch of licorice, leather... The nose feels young but delivers. The palate is exceptionally well made. Super strong acid drive, good width, super cherry notes all along, vivid mouthfeel, some lively tannins in the rear that make way to a long fruity finish with some meaty, umami notes showing up and even a tiny bitter note in the rear. I know it's. Their entry level wine but it's absolutely delicious. Simple, not so complex, but man their top wine must be bonkers! Oh and this is my 200th Italian entry here 😉 — a month ago
A blend of Sangiovese, Malbec, Petite Sirah, Cab Sauv, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, Grenache, Tannat, Mourvèdre, Syrah and Petit Verdot. Deep Ruby with aromas of red and black fruits and spicy oak notes. On the palate flavors of ripe berries and cherries, dried fruits and espresso notes. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, spice and a bit of cedar. — 2 months ago
sweet, but with some tannins. stood up to a Wagyu tenderloin — 4 months ago
Dark ruby coloration. No translucency. Prevalent tearing. On the nose, dark cherry and berries, currants and cocoa. On the palate, dark cherry, dark berry, cocoa, oak, vanilla, pepper and a longish finish of same. Jammy fruit. Full bodied and lush mouthfeel. Great value wine. $30 at total wine. — a month ago
