La Geynale Cornas Syrah 2015

Charles (Chad) Bucklin

Classic in style. The richness of the vintage comes though. Balanced. Long. And delicious. Needs time but drinking great now. No need to decant — a month ago

This is a red Burgundy despite many efforts to have it changed 😡. Really good. Has more earth and fruit than anything else. Silky smooth. — 10 days ago

Les Vins Pirouettes

Eros By Vincent Alsace Pinot Gris Blend

Pretty excited about this wine! Tempted to tell you it is garbage so it doesn't sell out so quickly but it deserves better!! Floral bouquet with a hint of stone and then a mouthful of citrus and apricot flavor with clean finish that demands another sip! — 14 days ago

The Storm Cellar

Rose Of St. Vincent 2020

They did it again. This wine just inches out the Alpenglow rose with perfectly balanced acidity, but this time with even more fruit flavors. The St. Vincent has finesse and elegence that leaves no doubt about its quality. — 12 days ago

Les Narvaux Meursault Chardonnay 2017

Выпито в Обнинске 01.07.21. Вино для меня уже слишком минеральное. Как- то не похоже на классическое мерсо. Сегодня моей сестре 58 лет. Она чистая и добрая девочка. Я ее люблю. — 22 days ago

More tart cherry showing than anything else. A little bit of cinnamon. I swear you can almost smell the fresh oak barrel. — 4 days ago

Vincent Dancer

Les Perrières Meursault 1er Cru Chardonnay 2013

Dancer’s Perrieres vines are sandwiched in between the great Roulot and Lafon, and his 2013 Perrieres is a stunner. There is so much depth to this wine and it’s about so much more than just reduction. It’s detailed, complex and layered with yellow fruit and stony minerals with superb density and inner mouth tension. It’s powerful and intense but its weight is so lifted and the freshness of the vintage keeps it impeccably well balanced. There is a line of pulsating acidity and exhilarating energy on the palate that leads to an explosively long finale. — 23 days ago

The Vincent Cabernet-Syrah Blend 2019

McCarthy & Schiering, $16

Full bodied and thick almost syrupy mouth feel. Lots of berry/cherry with an earthy vanilla sweetness. Long finish, good tannins balanced with slight acidity and not too dry at all. Really well balanced and changed my opinion of Cab Sav, it wasn't super oaky and dry at all, maybe because it was a blend. Paired excellent with my steak!
