Just makes 92.
The texture is oily, gorgeous & luscious. Cream, lemon, lime, green apple, white stone fruits, beautiful chalkiness, lanolin, river stone, flinty notes, grey volcanics, sea fossils, yellow lilies, seems to show a little more used oak, excellent acidity and smartly polished.
Still surprised how Lamy generally continues to fly under the radar for the most part. — 14 days ago
South blend, grenache Syrah, medium body, supple and crunchy. Black fruits, peppery and spicy, sharp acidity, great drinkability.
Assemblage sudiste grenache Syrah, corps moyen, souple et croquant. Fruits noirs, poivré et épicé, acidité vive, grande buvabilité. — 9 days ago
Once again very nice, a touch buttery and with some lemon zest, fresh and nice vivid and energetic structure. 90-91
Magnifique et complet encore une fois, touche beurrée et citronnée, tout en fraîcheur et saveur ayant une belle charpente d’acidité bien dosée. 90-91 — 7 days ago
Chateau is a 17 hectare estate located at the extreme east of the village of Saint-Emilion. A blend of about 88% Merlot and 12% Cabernet Franc with rich aromas of red fruits and cedar spice. On the palate flavors of black cherry, currants and blackberry with notes of licorice, tobacco and leather noting toasty notes. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit and toasty character. Very Nice. Drinking well now! — a day ago
An old friend, whom I am ecstatic to find again. Basically a Burgundy estate that was exiled from Chablis & is part of Côte d’Auxerre. Concentrated green fruits, lithe, delicate & powerful all at once. The balance is remarkable-I can’t imagine a better QPR. Polaner importer. — 4 days ago
