Sappy, grainy-textured, plump, spicy and meaty, this full-throttled expression will need a year or two to settle down. Bursting at the seams. 2018 bojo personified, on the power side of the power /elegance spectrum. As always, excellent value from Brun. — 2 days ago
The aromatics are insane. Floral and fruit jumps from the glass. Blueberry. Honeysuckle. Bright and lovely. The body is substantial and requires food. Thick and rich. Opening took over 45mins. — 13 days ago
Chenin Blanc, much like Chardonnay, truly exemplifies a sense of place. The environment, particularly soils, play a strong role in development of the wine. I adore Chenin from all corners of our globe, from sweet to mineral-driven, it almost has as much diversity as, dare I say, Riesling.
A solid buy at $14, prior notes apply; Chenin I always say I need more of you in my life... — a month ago

Bold, intense with tannins mixed with black fruit. Very nice.. — 10 days ago
Substantially above a tasting that included more prestigious appellations and more expensive bottles, all in the same region and all in chenin blanc. Best VfM of a very enjoyable tasting. Nice balance and yet a subtle acidity leaving much to hope for latter years. Drink some, keep some. — 21 days ago
2016 vintage. The label may indicate humbly "Bordeaux Supérieur", but this estate makes absolutely amazing wines. A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, biodynamically farmed. Beautiful nose with ripe black fruit (cherries, blackberries) and violets. Concentrated fruit and subtle spices, combined with polished tannin, and very good depth and length, this could be easily mistaken for a much more expensive Saint Emilion in a blind tasting. Stunning value at 17,90 euro. — 12 days ago
