Les Narvaux Meursault Chardonnay 2014

More complexity with age. One of those wines where you know from the first sniff that you are in for a treat. About a year and a half since my last btl, and very much in a sweet spot. On the nose: vanilla, soft honey, lime, wet stone, soft struck match...then the citrus closes in and you get dense lemon lime. On the palate: fantastic acidity, lemon, lemon oil, wet stone..great density...and a long finish. Just lovely. — 20 days ago

Les Serpentières Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2017

Very nice aromatically on cork pop. An absolutely beautiful pairing with a perfectly roast chicken with lots of jus (no surprise there). Lots of earthiness with some restrained dark red fruit coming through. Nice long finish with good acid. — 2 months ago

Pommard Pinot Noir 2017

Ruby with aromas of big red fruits and spicy notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with notes of herb spice and light oak. Fine tannins, long finish ending with great integration of fruit and spice. drinks well now. — 2 months ago

Cuvée Saint-Vincent Bourgogne Chardonnay 2017

Even after a couple days retains some good verve. Pretty nice and well balanced. Hits every part of the mouth with nothing overwhelming. Good acid, good slightly rich mouthfeel, nice finish (not overly long though). For the price I’ll take it. — a month ago

Les Grands Épenots Pommard 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2010

Elegant and well balanced. Nuanced and delicate nose. Decanted for 3 hours. No real Burg barnyard at the open - but it opened nicely - drinking really well. — 2 months ago
