More red fruit forward. Nose has some toast but less on palate — 17 hours ago
Dry and not too sweet. — a day ago
Deep Ruby with aromas of red and black fruits, herbs and spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry with leafy herbs, oak and black pepper. Fine fresh tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, smoky oak and herb spice. — 18 hours ago
What a great example of Idaho wine. Definitely proves you don't have to be in California to make a great cab! — 9 days ago
Full bodied with nice nose and long finish. A keeper. — 3 days ago
Toasty and nutty. More champagne like than I expected. Apple. Wonderful stuff — 17 hours ago
Picked this bottle up at Costco and was intrigued by the year and price. I’ve always enjoyed PNW wines, so why not? The cork had a vinegar odor and I was afraid it had already turned, but poured a nice glass anyway; much better bouquet but light and a touch sour. On the palate, a delightful cab bursting with unexpected flavors cranberry, tart cherry, and a hint of white chocolate. Not as big a red is normally gravitate to but definitely a great value. — a month ago
"Odedi"
Deep purple in color with a tiny purple rim.
Fruity nose of blackberries, sweet plums, cooked cherries, oak, light vanilla, tobacco leaf, earth, dark chocolates, black pepper and Mediterranean spices.
Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with currants, plums, cherries, sweet raspberries, spices, cedar, chocolates, tobacco leaf, licorice, herbs and peppercorn.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a delicious Petit Verdot from Lake County in California. Big, bold and spicy. Feels like a Napa Petite Sirah.
Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel and a teeth staining color.
The mix of black and red fruits is very interesting. Tangy and rich.
Good right out of the bottle and better with airtime. Drinking very nicely now, and will continue to age in the next 5 to 7 years.
Good by itself as a sipping wine, and good with food.
Organic Petit verdot grapes are grown at 2,200 feet of elevation on red volcanic soil. A tiny production of only 1,300 bottles.
15.1% alcohol by volume.
92 points.
