Still excellent years later! More autumnal notes and fall leaves. Nice — 5 months ago
Medium Ruby color with aromas of red fruits, floral and earthy spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and blackberry with notes of cacao, tobacco and mushroom. Fine tannins, lively acidity, medium+ finish, ending with fruit, spice and earthy notes. — 2 months ago

A pair of vintage matched Burg. This one just on the cusp, yellow golden color, hints of oxidative notes into a mellow rounded palate — 2 months ago
Actually a robust wine prominently showing that 2003 heat I’d come across every so often. Makes it interesting mixed into the more classical Burg profile, perhaps not silkily balanced but still thought provoking and a good one with Evan’s over salted soyu chicken — 3 months ago
A fantastic bottle of Chablis-adjacent, just great a year since our last bottle. Please see prior notes on the vintage. (A touch more salty than before, but doing fine.)
On the Lawn at Tanglewood this evening with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Our guest conductor Karina Canellakis is leading WAGNER (Prelude to Lohengrin, Act 1), CHOPIN (Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor, Opus 21) with one of our local treasures, Emanuel (Manny!) Ax on piano and then RACHMANINOFF (Symphonic Dances, Opus 45). A fantastic night is ahead of us! — 4 years ago

Medium bodied, bold, and spicy, with some prominent ripe and slightly brandy like fruit, with surprising tartness and acidity. Nose is a good deal fresher, and more mature, with the same notes of raspberry, black cherry, fresh mulch, rose petal and some alcoholic like freshness at the finish. This is very good, but not as wildly complex as I thought. — 5 days ago
