Even though it was 14 years old, I should have let it open more. Changed a lot over an hour—for the better. The end of the bottle was strawberry laffy taffy. Started with a simple wine of cherries and strawberries. Added depth, oak, leather, and more as time went on. — 4 years ago
Nose: dark cherry, jello, cedar, raspberry, wintergreen, eucalyptus, laffy taffy, a spice chest. Taste: light, smooth, pine, eucalyptus, tobacco, licorice, a little sweet, but a lot less fruit than the nose. Light-medium weight. Elegant. Not my preferred style, but a great example of what it is. Not worth $16 to me (my taste), but still a decent value if you like the varietals and style. — 5 years ago

If you’re reading this now, you’re kicking yourself you didn’t buy a couple more of the 2018. — 2 years ago
Lovely. Ripe cherries. — 2 years ago
NOSE: sherry and brandy-like. Distinct raisin, caramel. Orange (candied), lozenge, varnish, vanilla, baking spices (cinnamon, clove, etc), Rum-like marshmallow. Irish (pot still) whiskey. Laffy taffy.
TASTE: More acidity than expected, over the top raisin. Sulphur (not in a bad way, in a raisin way). Chilled apple cinnamon hibiscus tea with sugar and orange juice. Not my style - but it is made well. 90.
EDIT: someone mentioned roasted nuts and they are right. — 4 years ago

Delicious! Very similar to last vintages notes. I’d add papaya and banana Laffy Taffy. — 4 years ago
Harrison Curley
Sheer and light on the nose; lemon pith, ocean air, slate rock.
Good legs and clear straw in color.
Beeswax, preserved lemon, chamomile, finish of laffy taffy banana that elongates the flavor on the mouth. Med light weight. — 4 months ago
