Mike & Rhonda came up to visit us this past Saturday. Came to support my son on his final swim before heading off to college. He just happened to break the pool record in 50 Breaststroke . They purchased this beauty for dinner. We LOVE you both! -at EddieV’s Tyson’s Corner. @Mike R — 6 days ago
It's hard to describe this wine except as the best rosé I've ever had. The bouquet has beautiful red fruit, with the taste of red fruit and citrus, with medium acidity that is not too high and extremely well balanced. It's the kind of wine I can't stop drinking but I want to share with all of my friends. If you care at all about drinking a rosé that punches well above it's weight in terms of value, you should buy this wine immediately — 18 days ago
I have such a soft spot for her wines and was super excited to try this particular vintage with her winemaking style and it did not disappoint. So sexy and seductive and its aromas waft from the glass making it so hard to put down. You can detect the ripeness of the vintage but it’s not overdone and her elegant style adds focus. Ethereal palate with superb delineation, especially so for the vintage. Long and lifted finish. So good. — 12 days ago
Legendary grower house that is powerful and precise. A sharply golden hue with little green flecks. This is all about refinement and grace. The nose is a real treat. Brioche and green apples. Light spice, brown sugar, and butter. A touch of caramel and coconut. Supremely intoxicating.
70/30 PN/CH from Grand Cru plots in Ambonnay and Verzenay. Aged 48 months and disgorged in July of 2020. This is so powerful that it puts so many other champagnes to shame. Fresh and crisp with lively acidity and perfect balance. Full bodied and complex.
The palate slaps you in the face with a fancy glove. Beautiful caramel and cooked butter. Apricots, vanilla wafers, and plums. Long finish featuring spice and minerality. Just a baby but still so good. High expectations and it surpasses them. Put these away for a while and let the finesse take over. — 13 days ago
a fabulous bottle—all that it should be—steely tightly wound grand cru white wine from Corton Charlemagne. Huge upside yet, so young, wine will last decades. It’s got it all—fruit and structure, great acidity. Still a bit lean and needs to fill out, but a great bottle. — 12 days ago
