Domaine François Raveneau
Valmur Chablis Grand Cru Chardonnay
So young. Rich mid palate. Will it get leaner or grow with time? Hard to say.

Jun 24th, 2018Light gold; fascinating nose that’s floral, a little minty, mineral and dusty, yet it’s not really open; citrusy palate is mouth-coating with an herbal aspect adding to the distinct minerality. Spiciness really came thru on day two. (At Le Maufoux, again not a local listing.)

In this warmer year the Chablis was harder to pick so I was pleased to be able to do that. Touch of butterscotch and a little salty on the palate. Great to keep its Chablis Integrity in this warm year.
